With our newly revamped pivot tire shop D&S Tires is now using the latest in tire recapping technology. Installed in July of 2017 our recapping machines provide D&S Tires automation with a human touch. This automated process limits product defects as the capping process remains consistent throughout production, improving quality. This also lets us provide higher quantities of irrigation recaps in a shorter amount of time.
Using this fully modernized production process, our steel belted radial recaps utilize a 1.5” deep tread bar design which is ideal for muddy conditions. Our recapped tires provide a cost effective option to farmers looking for replacement pivot tires.
All 22.5 and 24.5 tires on hand are available on 8 or 9 hole wheels.
This tire measures 52” tall and 15” wide and run 20 psi for a large foot print and less tracks in the field, again resulting why radial tires are a better way of going. More contact area with the ground means less ruts to cross in the fields.
